BESO requires homeowners and building owners to complete and publicize an energy assessment to uncover greenhouse gas emissions and energy saving opportunities. Advanced Lower Home Energy has been very busy in the city of Berkeley to complete BESO reports for realtors and homeowners. We understand that as a new homeowner or a realtor that you may be very busy. Therefore allow our team to take this responsibility to complete this process.

BESO REQUIREMENTS:
Energy Efficiency Assessment
Before a building can be listed for sale a homeowner or realtor will need to hire a qualified assessor to complete an assessment including a report of the home. Potential buyers will have access to this report to review the energy score on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most efficient home. This city ordinance must be completed before listing the home for sale. Please review the following BESO steps.

THE PROCESS

When your scheduled Assessor arrives and has completed the onsite assessment he will have two methods of payment. If paying by check please make checks payable to Advanced Lower Home Energy.
If paying by credit card there will be an additional fee of $10 applied.
